No. Privci’s browser‑based training agent is intentionally designed to be lightweight, non‑intrusive, and respectful of employee boundaries.
The agent does not record keystrokes, capture screen content, monitor personal browsing, or access private communications. It operates only within clearly defined behavioural contexts relevant to security awareness and risk — and only within the scope agreed by the organisation.
Privci is deployed by organisations under existing acceptable‑use and security agreements, ensuring transparency and consent at an organisational level. The goal is not surveillance, but timely, supportive guidance that helps employees make safer decisions in real‑world situations.
Privci follows strict data‑minimisation and privacy‑by‑design principles. Users are identified only by their organisational email address, which is internally referenced using a unique, non‑human‑readable identifier. No personal profiling or cross‑platform tracking is performed.
Behavioural statistics and aggregated insights are stored in separate, purpose‑built databases to prevent unnecessary data correlation. Direct logs, alerts, and event‑level data are retained for a maximum of six months, after which they are automatically purged in line with best‑practice retention policies.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Privci never sells, shares, or repurposes employee data, and organisations retain full control over access, retention, and deletion at all times.
